My gosh, finallly, my Internet is WORKING.

Ok, i shall be blabbing about American Idol first which is like totally SUCKY! Gosh, Casey Carlson didn't get in. Heh, it was probably, no, wait HER OWN FAULT cos she sang the, THE dumbest song EVER. E V E R. Puh-fft. Her outfits were so awesomeeee. Anyways, so, Danny got in, which well, i think everyone predicted, cos he ROCKS! I hope he wins, and i hope people do not start calling him Archuleta the second cos he is NOT. He is so much better than Archuleta. Bluekkk. Alexis Grace, hmmm, i'm not a big fan of her cos she isn't like OOOHHH, AWESOME. Nope. Oh what's his name? Michael got in, heh, ok ok only.

CSI was so incredibly super duper tremendously (I hope i spelled that right?) boring. Warrick died. Poo hoo. Who cares? It was seriously very vely disappontingly sucky.

MSSS was sucky! No wait, my TIMES were sucky. But it was fun. On thursday especially. With the stupid card game. HAHA.

On Friday, i watched three movies at home. Hmm, um. Oh, Burn After Reading which i so did not find funny at all, only Brad Pitt's character was funny. I'm told you have to listen really carefully to the dark humor. But whatever, i found it boring. And pretty sick.
And The Reader. I dunnno how to decribe it. I know that i kind of liked it and that it was very sad and tragic at the end. And touching. I cried, so yea. It's just the many disgusting sex scenes and the bits and bobs of everyone's naked body you have to ignore. At the first part la. The movie is more or less like a love story. And this and that. And bla and bla. Watch it. I think Kate Winslet deserves to win the Oscars for her performance here. If she doesn't win and if Benjamin Button doesn't win, then i shall declare that the Oscars is a stupid awards show. It's tomorrow so remember to watch it!
Revolutionary Road is such a waste of time. My time. Waste of film and money. Super boring. It was so undramatic. I wasn't moved at all. Kate Winslet wasted her breath here. Stupid show. There, i think that sums it.

My weekeends are always jam-packed with stuff and activities for school. I shall not go on about how much i hate that it always is. Tomorrow my day will be wasted at Summit cos i'm going for Leo Idol. Eeeek, puh-fft.

My arm still hurts and is still numb and so is everyone elses one. I got sick at ISKL today. The food there kinda sucks. Assunta got 3 bronzes, we won the Rafidah award and we got the Sweepstakes award! How awesome is that? I'm too tired to go on about the SEA Forensics tournament. A lot of ppl bumped into my arm today, mainly Loshni, wait till you get YOUR jab. I'm gonna whack you.

i was late 45 minutes for tuition. I TOTALLY forgot. I was comatos watching the telly and was on the computer most of the afternoon and then Grace called and she was like where are you?
And i was like oh crap cos my mom was out. Oooh yea, and Grace didn't remind me so yea, PARTLY HER fault. Grace shall be coming here to spam soon so watch out for that masked menace. WOW, today i seriously so blur, how can i forget??? I didn't even know my mom went out.

I don't want to sound like a whiny baby but i can't help it but my arm is seriously paining and i stretched it trying to close the car door which had to be so far far away. I know i'm over exaggerating but who cares???? My arm huRTS!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's numb as ever. But it's weird cos mine is the only one that's numb and hurts. Badly. Grace's one doesn't hurt cos she thinks she's so cool, can tahan any pain. Anyways, i'm just babbling here. She says it's ok that i'm insulting her here. IT'S OK! There she goes again. Wow, she really is very bertolak ansurish today. Or Toleransi. Whatever. Eh, i like her keyboard. Very nice. Nicer than mine cos mine is kinda flat and it's black so it's kinda hard.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Today when i was reading the newspapers, i found this review and thought everything the review said was true. I so agree with you.

Think of Benjamin Button as a long, languid poem. Though lyrical and full of vivid images, it can also be slow, and parts of it may seem unnecessary. Once you’ve finished the whole thing, however, you will finally understand its beauty.
The film, based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, may be one of the most unusual to hit the big screen in a while: the title character, Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), is born an octogenarian and ages backward into infancy. Hence, the central theme of the film is time: how quickly it passes by, and how nothing ever lasts.
For Benjamin, however, time puts him at odds with everyone else; as he grows younger and healthier, those around him age and pass on.
This sad paradox is underlined by his love for Daisy (Cate Blanchett), with whom he has but a few years to spend where they are both physically and mentally equal. The movie is obviously a labour of love for director David Fincher (whose previous works include Fight Club, Se7en and Zodiac); every shot, every scene, is beautifully conceptualised and captured.
Pitt is wonderful in the title role, giving a believable and sympathetic performance despite being under layers of make-up for most of the film. Even with the heavy use of CGI and camerawork to make his condition believable, his performance remains the main focus.
Pitt’s chemistry with Blanchett is also great, and together, they portray the fragility of their relationship heartbreakingly well.
Among the supporting cast, Taraji P. Henson as Benjamin’s adopted mother and Tilda Swinton as one of his lovers are outstanding.
If you’re in the mood for simple entertainment, skip this one. If, however, you want a film that is intelligent, thought-provoking, and deeply affecting, give Benjamin Button a go. It isn’t easy going, but it is definitely worth it. – Sharmilla Ganesan
