As Kara was lying on her death bed, she thought about her whole life,
how unsupportive her parents were and how they never loved her.
When her friends eventually gave up on her after she turned away from them more times than she could count.
How she had to give up her career, her career she had worked for years, just because of her parents.
How most of the men she dated left her for someone else.
How anything and everything would just blow up in her face.
How she wasn't talented at anything.
She was a failure.
Tears began to roll down her face as she thought about her depressing and horrible things in her life.
The feeling of being insecure was just something she couldn't take. She had had enough. Enough of feeling angry and frustrated. Enough of feeling like she wanted to die.
She tried to think of the happy moments she had.
She thought long and hard about it.
There was a point in her life where something kept her going.
It was the happiest moment of her life.
She had met James.
